PADI Specialty Instructor training on Phuket in July 2017

Michael and Sean both participated in some of the PADI Specialty Instructor training on Phuket in July 2017. Straight after they completed the PADI IDC, we started with some of the training, all in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia'.

Both Michael and Sean participated in the Enriched Air and Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor Specialties. 

Sean went on to compete the MSDT Prep course, which added another 5 PADI Instructor Specialties to his tally.

In preparation to find your way around in case you ever end up in a silted out room.

Sean choose to participate in the PADI Wreck-, Drift, DUP (Digital Underwater Photography)-, Deep- and Fish ID Instructor level specialties. 

This meant boat and dive time! We had seven good dives on and around the Raya islands, Shark Point, Bida Nai near Koh Phi Phi and Koh Doc Maai.

We had different weather and dive conditions, ranging from sunny to windy to rainy top side and from easy and relaxed diving to diving in strong currents. The latter came in very handy for Sean's drift dive specialty!

It's always nice to relax and wind off after the PADI IE with a few dives and enjoy what we came to do in the first; scuba diving!

Sean is settling on Phuket, looking for work and getting himself in a legal position and Michael has already moved on, to new life and dive adventures. It was great having you both and we'll meet again soon enough! For the time being, good luck with your respective scuba diving careers! The foundation has been laid during your July 2017 PADI IDC!!
