PADI IDC for January 2018 on Koh Lanta, Thailand has started

We're on the road again and the first one of the year is on; the PADI IDC for January 2018 on Koh Lanta, Thailand has started in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC center 'Blue Planet Divers' in Ban Saladan on Koh Lanta Yai.

We already kicked off this program yesterday with the three candidates, Helmer from Sweden, Quintin from France and Josh from Canada. Thanos from Greece started two days ago with his PADI IDC Staff Instructor course. As always, a very international affair.

First impressions are good and it seems we have a good group at hand here. Besides friendly personalities, they also displayed strong performances on their theory exams and skill circuit in confined water. Way to go guys!

Plenty of fun still to come though, so stay tuned in to see how they fare over the next two weeks, including the PADI IE.

Today we started with the last of their theory exams, the RDP exam. This will be followed by a few presentations by me and then it's off to the pool again. Plenty of workshops are on the agenda today, including a CESA presentation/workshop, workshops about control and explanations of various 'new' skills from the open water diver course. Enough for them to keep them busy and out of trouble over the next two weeks.

Your next opportunities will be PADI IDC programs scheduled to start On 23rd February on Koh Phangan, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Haad Yao Divers'. This is followed by a program scheduled to start 6th February and 7th March on Phuket, Thailand in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia' with monthly programs scheduled in 2018 on Phuket and on 20th February an IDC is scheduled to start in Khao Lak, Thailand in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Sea Dragon'. To make the circle round again, on 26th March I will be back on Koh Lanta, Thailand again in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers'.
