The PADI IDC for January 2017 on Koh Lanta has started
Yesterday the PADI IDC for January 2017 on Koh Lanta has started, in conjunction with PADI 5* IDC Center 'Blue Planet Divers' here on Koh Lanta
It seems that we ourselves a nice group of seven IDC candidates, with a very international variation of countries of origin, including France, the UK, the USA, Japan and China combined with staff from the UK and the Netherlands.
The PADI IDC for January 2017 on Koh Lanta has started; from left to right, Carolyn, Guilhem, Faith, Ann (PADI IDCS), Baptiste, Norie, Melonie and Christine in the pool, before we started today's confined water session with a skill circuit and plenty of workshops, covering topics varying from how to control students to rescue diver course skills and descents. All in a days work!
At the end of day two of this PADI IDC on Koh Lanta, we covered a lot of ground already, including one set of dive theory exams, curriculum presentations by me and confined water dives with skill circuit practice, rescue exercise # 7 with and without pocket mask practice and plenty of workshops.
Tomorrow the candidates first confined water presentations is due and the 'real' work is about to start for them.
