PADI Instructor Specialty Training on Phuket, Thailand October 2016

PADI Instructor Specialty Training on Phuket, Thailand October 2016

It's time to check out the PADI Instructor Specialty Training on Phuket, Thailand October 2016 in conjunction with PADI CDC Center 'Dive Asia'.

There were a whole bunch of PADI Instructor level specialties on the line and all three candidates joined the various training parts.

PADI Instructor Specialty Training on Phuket, Thailand October 2016; Tahamtan with Tommy during the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor training, getting familiar with the Emergency Oxygen equipment at the Kata Big Rock IDC training center of Dive Asia

All three, Tommy, Tahamtan and Oskari became PADI Enriched Air Instructors, after Tommy and Oskari first completed their Enriched Air diver level certification.

Only Tommy had signed up for the MSDT Prep package, that includes five PADI Instructor level specialties, plus the PADI Enriched Air Instructor rating.

Tahamtan decided to join the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor course and Oskari joined Tommy and me on a day out on the boat for two dives of the PADI Deep Diver Instructor course.

The day after the very successful PADI IE in October on Phuket, the candidates had a sleep in during the morning but the afternoon was used to prepare for the next days on the boat and for the PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor course.

The two days diving with Tommy were good. In one day we had three dives and we had good visibility, considering the circumstances and the time of the year with all the rain we experienced during the September - October 2016 PADI IDC. We dived at Anemone Reef, which was for me the first time since 18 years, after I completed my PADI Divemaster course on Koh Phi Phi, way back in 1998, and we also visited Bida Noi and Koh Doc Mai.

Oskari also joined us for one day and we had two great deep dives at Racha Yai, during which we went to 39 meters on one dive. We saw lots of fish and a couple of nudi branches, all in all a great days diving!
