It's done and dusted, yeah! The October PADI IDC on Gili Air in Indonesia is done and dusted and is a thing of the past! The 4 candidates are relieved and very much ready for just one more stop before they can pin their PADI OWSI stripes on to their dive suits, the PADI IE! This starts the 1st November and will be completed the during the morning of the 2nd! That gives us a day off tomorrow and I may go for a couple of dives tomorrow.
On the way to the open water dive site
All performance requirements have been met in the classroom, in confined- and open water. All 4 of them, Florence, David, Dan and Paden are well prepared and I will be very surprised if they would stumble during the exams, I expect them to do very well and pass the exams with high scores!
Another mark reached is that during this program I taught the 350st IDC candidate!
Controlled descent

Control
During my stay here on Gili Air, I taught a few PADI Instructor level specialties as well, an update will follow tomorrow.
Lift bag ascent
It was a great program, thanks to Oceans 5, Sander and the candidates, it was a pleasure working with you!

If you're interested in participating in one of my PADI IDC programs, the next program starts 18th November on Malapascua in the Philippines, followed by the last program of this year with an IDC in Khao Lak, Thailand starting 4th December.
2013 kicks off with IDC programs in early January on Koh Lanta and Koh Phangan followed by an IDC starting 27th January on Malapascua in the Philippines.
See you there,
Camille
